日本語の会話のテキストを見ていると
「・・・」があることに気づきませんか。
これは、何も言わない、という意味ですが、ちょっと意味深な感じです。
実は、これには意味があります。

ミラー：教えて あげたいんですけど、ちょっと 時間が・・・。
さちこ：お茶でも 飲みながら おしゃべりして いただけませんか。
ミラー：うーん。出張も多いし もうすぐ 日本語の 試験も あるし・・・。
それに 今まで 教えた ことが ありませんから・・・。
さちこ：だめですか。じゃ 残念ですが・・・。
ミラー：どうも すみません。

Picking up those, then,
（時間が）ないんです：I have no time.
できません：I can not.
無理です：It’s impossible.
あきらめます：I give up.

Don’t say something negative directly
Japanese tend not to say something negative directly.
So, you have to guess what they would want to say, from the context.
If you say something negative to someone in front of him/her,
He/She would cry.
I am exhasulating a bit. But yes, They might hurt.
Instead of negative thing, You can use “…”.
It is very useful.
Real meanings of ちょっと難しい
You might heard 「ちょっと難しい」.
ちょっと = a little bit
難しい = difficult
So, It is a little bit difficult??
Noooooooo.
ちょっと難しい means I can’t do that.
Sometimes, It means that “it’s difficult” literally, but mostly It means I can’t.
